Related Exam: Outline Unit 1 – Getting Started. This unit covers identifying spreadsheet components, identifying the main components of the Excel window, accessing and using Help, opening and navigating workbooks, and closing a workbook and closing Excel. Unit 2 – Entering and Editing Data. This unit covers creating an Excel workbook, entering and editing labels and values in a worksheet, and saving and updating a workbook. Unit 3 – Modifying a Worksheet. This unit covers moving and copying data in a worksheet, moving and copying formulae in a worksheet, using absolute references in formulae, and inserting and deleting ranges in a worksheet. Unit 4 – Using Functions. This unit covers using the SUM function to calculate the sum of values in a worksheet; using the AutoSum button to enter SUM functions; and using the AVERAGE, MIN, and MAX functions to find average, minimum, and maximum values. Unit 5 - Formatting Worksheets. This unit covers formatting text to make it noticeable in a worksheet; changing column widths, row heights, and alignment; formatting numbers to improve clarity; and using AutoFormat to format data, and using Format Painter to copy formats. Unit 6 - Printing. This unit covers previewing how a worksheet will look when printed, and using the spelling checker; using Page Setup optionsto control orientation and to display gridlines and headers and footers; and printing a worksheet, and working with print areas. Unit 7 - Creating Charts. This unit covers using the Chart Wizard to create charts based on data in a worksheet; changing chart types, formatting chart elements, and moving and resizing embedded charts; and printing chart sheets and embedded charts. Unit 8 - Web Features. This unit covers saving a workbook as a Web page, and using the AutoRepublish feature to keep the Web version of a workbook updated, adding a link to a worksheet, and sending a workbook via e-mail. |
